Mid-west girl, raised in a town the size of my thumb nail.  After starting college I realized that studying abroad, at Harlaxton Manor, was a must! I lived in the haunted castle and traveled every weekend.  It was that semester I caught the incurable “travel bug.”

Upon returning from England, I moved to Jackson, Wy for a summer job. That summer job turned into a 4 year job that I loved. I learned how to downhill ski, I was a volunteer firefighter (yes, I fought real fires!), and floated down the Snake River as many times as possible. However, without a college degree, the corporate ladder was not mine to climb.

I headed back to Indiana to finish my college career. That was accomplished on December 9, 2006.  I received my bachelors in Business Management, with emphasis in HR.  I celebrated my graduation with a trip to Antarctica.  The college degree came in handy shortly after I received it. I landed my first "real job," in the corporate world.

Not only was returning home to finish my education a good idea, but I also ended up looking into the eyes of a boy that I would spend the rest of my life looking in to.  The wedding date was July 2010, in none other than the same stretch of mountainous land I dwelled on years earlier.  4 months after the wedding we found out we were expecting our first!  So yeah, that was quick! :)

These days we spend our free time raising our lil dumplin, traveling and visiting as many music festivals as our "Paid Time Off" allows.  I have always loved writing and have an interest in sharing my life experiences with the world.
